Work with Past Date Files

A past date file is a term used to describe a Delayed, Damaged, or On-Hand Bag File that has been moved from the active WorldTracer database to the past date database. This happens automatically a number of days after file closure, or after file creation if the file wasn't closed.

The file retention period is described in Types of WorldTracer Files.

To display a past date file, you must know the file reference number, or the passenger name, month of travel, station and airline.

If necessary, you can reactivate a Delayed Bag File or a Damaged Bag File from the past date database. This moves it to the active WorldTracer database as a Closed file.
